Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager will drive the sales of our managed financial and operational software products and services.  This person will be responsible for aggressively building market share in the Northeast mid-market ($25M-$500M)

This is a hunter role.   Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Prospecting
  • Developing sales strategies to penetrate accounts
  • Closing sales for our account opportunities
  • Lead generation
  • Opportunity qualification
  • Presentations to multiple levels within an organization
  • Negotiation and deal closure 

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Combination of pre-sales and 5-7 years outside software sales experience
  • New business hunter
  • Proven record of over quota performance
  • Ability to call upon-C-level prospective accounts, articulating Return-on-Investment scenarios and value propositions 

Other Qualities:

  • High degree of integrity
  • Must be self-starter
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in fast paced sales environment and quickly learn new software technologies
  • Analysis and problem solving skills
  • Extensive contacts in the Northeast desired
  • Must be able to speak about and quickly understand technological issues and practices
  • Proven success selling in a consultative/team environment and building new business
  • Experience speaking to business process and/or accounting issues
  • Consistently exceeded a $2 Million+ quota
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, SL, AX, NAV or CRM would be a plus but not required
